Corby Care & Mobility- Sliding Door Shop Front

We were approached by Corby Shop Mobility to supply and install an exciting new shop front for the opening of the shop. Initially the customer wanted bi parting doors in the centre of the opening, but a structural supporting beam through the middle, which meant the doors had to be set to the left or right.  We overcame this by installing a single slider product.

The shop owners were also worried about the cold entering the shop during the winter; if the door sensors were to detect shoppers when looking around, the doors could continually open. As a solution, we installed a push pad exit function to exit the shop. This comes with safety sensors for anyone slowly moving through the doors.
Completed in April 2011, the shop are delighted with their inviting new shop front. The client now has a cost effective set of automatic doors which operate in a way that answers the requirements of both client and user and are in accordance with British Standard 7036.
